David Hewett

Financial Controller

Prior to working in finance David studied Chemistry at university, obtained first an MSci, then a PhD in renewable energy storage. David then trained as accountant and is ACA qualified. Over his career David has worked with a wide range of businesses from start-ups, to longstanding family run business, and large corporations; and across a wide range of sectors including software, manufacturing, professional services, healthcare, as well as with a range of charities and not-for-profit organisations.

David looks after the day to day finances at Aceleron, making sure everyone knows what is being spent, and how much money we are making. David ensures that our figures and accounts are up to date and accurate to help with our decision making.

When not at Aceleron: David tries his best to keep fit and is a keen runner and enjoys going for long walks with his children.
