Following on from a Master’s in chemistry Michael started working as a Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) before moving into project management within the organisation. After working at NPL Michael moved to Airbus Defence and Space to work as a Project Manager on various software-based projects using satellite data. This has provided a wealth of experience in the delivery and management of research-based projects and working with various funding competitions. At Aceleron Michael’s role is to manage the grant-funded projects that have been successful, as well as build a strategy for future grant funding. This includes identifying opportunities, formulating solutions, collaborating with partners, and applying for relevant competitions as they come.
When not at Aceleron
Outside of work Michael is an avid DIY’er and huge fan of basketball.
