The article by Andy Colthorpe features Amrit and two other industry experts (Bo Normark from EIT InnoEnergy and Christiana Lampe-Onnerud, two-time winner of the World Economic ForumTechnology Pioneer award) discussing what the future holds for the lithium-ion battery.
Amrit clearly outlines the problem of battery waste, and the inefficiencies within the industry and manufacturing process that create this waste. He then goes on to highlight how Aceleron has produced a technical solution with its innovative use of circular economy principles in the manufacturing process. He also highlights future goals for Aceleron to move further into the value chain of batteries and scale the company's reach.
Aceleron’s technical team offer some helpful tips on the best way to store a leisure battery in order to maximise its life expectancy and guarantee peak performance for years to come.
Aceleron, which has designed and built the only battery energy storage system (BESS) that can be taken apart for repair, replacement and upgrade, has partnered with Nuenta, one of the largest distributors of renewable and environmental supplies in the UK.
Aceleron’s uniquely serviceable, repairable and upgradeable LFP battery, the Essential has been recognised for its environmental design by the international DAME design awards committee, which celebrates everything that is important about marine equipment design.
